Location:
Little Shepherd Christian Preschool is held in
rooms in the lower level of First Lutheran
Church. Upon entering First Lutheran's main
entrance by the parking lot, go down the stairs
and follow the hall to the right. Our
classrooms and playground meet all of the
regulations by Iowa Department of Human
Service, the Fire Department and local Health
Department. We are a non-smoking facility.
Age & Developmental Guidelines:
Children enrolling in the 3 year class must be
3 by September 15. Children enrolling in the 4
year old class must be 4 by Sept. 15th.
Children of proper age are eligible regardless
of race or denomination. All children must be
potty trained before school starts.
Staff:
Little Shepherd Christian Preschool employs a
dedicated and well-educated staff with
extensive early childhood experience. Our staff
is committed to creating a safe, fun, and
developmentally appropriate school
experience. All staff members are certified in
CPR as well as trained in First Aid and
Universal Precautions. The staff participate in
work shops and conferences each year in
order to remain informed of the current issues,
trends and tools in Early Childhood
development.
